The City of Albuquerque is seeking a forward-thinking, emotionally intelligent candidate to serve as the next Deputy Director of Housing Initiatives & Community Development. The ideal candidate is a proven leader and mentor with excellent communication skills. Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Public Administration, Social Services, Economics, Urban Planning, or a related field preferred; along with Six (6) years of experience in housing, community development, or social services positions, with at least four (4) years in a supervisory capacity working with HUD programs preferred.
