Under the general direction of the City Manager and Assistant City Manager, the Director of Parks and Recreation provides executive leadership and strategic oversight for all departmental operations, including recreation programming, park services, personnel management, financial administration, policy development, community partnerships, and long-range planning. The City seeks an experienced, collaborative, and visionary leader who understands the increasingly important role parks and recreation plays in promoting community health, social connection, cultural enrichment, and overall quality of life. The monthly salary range for the Director of Parks and Recreation is $ 14,028.57 – 18,262.50; placement within this range is dependent on qualifications and experience.
