· Oversee the City’s procurement system to include bid processes, policy and procedure development, department assistance and education, and vendor relations.
· Collaborate with executive leadership to drive innovation citywide.
· Ensure compliance with City State Federal procurement laws.
· Streamline the procurement process.
· Update procedures to align with changes in the state law.

· Bachelor’s degree required; Certified Public Purchasing Officer preferred.
· 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in governmental purchasing.
· Valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
· Familiarity with Tyler Munis products is preferred.
